The heat wave lingers, slowing me down to an average of 2.9 mph. But, the day was survived, and life gifted me a moment of awe—a beautiful snake whose vibrant patterns kept me mesmerized from a safe distance. Nature, always full of surprises.
As I journey through Connecticut, soon crossing into Massachusetts, the excitement of entering New England stirs within me. But there’s a pause before I enjoy that New England IPA—Not ready to celebrate yet. 🍺
A special shoutout to Ice Man and Gun section—they’re the backbone of this journey. Ice Man’s care and attention, truly make the difference. Gun section, the culinary artist, keeping me fueled with steak sandwiches. 🥪🔥
This year, Ice Man will join for the first week through Maine, and I can’t wait to reunite with him. Gun section will be there the whole way, bringing strength and support from start to finish.
The trail teaches me that every step is both a challenge and a blessing, and no journey is made alone. 🏞️
