Coconut oil massage
Today I take an oil massage to recover my body from the Thai massage I had two days ago. The Thai lady who gave me this Thai Massage said you shouldn’t have this Thai massage every day because it is hard on the body. You should change now and then for an oil massage. So after buying my own coconut oil I had a relaxing coconut oil massage but it was still deep tissue.
I’m so pleased to be back to my regular weight. This morning I weighed 68 kg. Just a few months ago when I was drinking and eating heavily I got up to 76 kg. Having running as a hobby power to weight ratio is extremely important.
I haven’t drunk any alcohol for two months. Since being Thailand I haven’t eaten any meat or dairy products, not saying I won’t eat any ever again in the future but I think for the meantime I’m pretty much going to avoid them.
Two years ago when I was up north Thailand with my mother we both were 100% pure plant-based. My mothers cholesterol went down to 4 point something after sitting at about eight for years. Even the statins only took it down to 6. She thought it was hereditary but it shows with diet what you can do.
Since being on the island I have done a ton of mountain running. I’ve completely destroyed my quads, particularly my right quad. So I’m just doing flat running on the dirt track until my legs recover.
