It’s not over when you think it is.

Rather than every day go into full detail about everything that happened I might just pick out key points.

What Stood out about today was the fact that I started a run and didn’t think I could finish it. Reason being I decided to try it fasted in 33 Degree Celsius heat.

Not a good idea. My goal was to run 15 miles, but after mile 3 I was struggling and was ready to quit.

I decided to look at what my alternatives were and ended up going over to my scooter pressing pause on my watch and Driving to have a watermelon shake.

I also bought half a kilo of small oranges and decided when running again to eat one every 10 minutes.

I couldn’t believe I changed from Running nine minute miles to running eight minute miles with a lower heart rate just by fuelling myself.

I knew I would struggle but I didn’t know I would struggle this much. And the lesson is… “It’s not over when you think it is.” You’ve always got more in the tank you just need to strategise.
