In 2015, he trained in Ethiopia alongside top athletes. In 2020, he set a world record on Britain’s longest national trail. By 2022, he achieved the second-fastest time on the Appalachian Trail before making history in 2023, setting the fastest known time for the full 2,198-mile route.
