I’m Kristian Morgan, an ultra runner and coach with over 25 years of experience across road marathons, trail running, and ultra-distance events.
I coach runners preparing for everything from their first 50K through to 100-mile, 200-mile races, FKTs, and multi-day endurance efforts. My coaching is personal, adaptive, and built around real-world experience — not generic plans or automated systems.
I’ve lived and trained in Ethiopia, spent decades immersed in endurance running, and completed some of the longest and most demanding efforts in the sport, including setting the southbound Appalachian Trail record and recording the third-fastest known time on the Appalachian Trail. That depth of experience shapes how I coach every athlete I work with.

Coaching is billed per 4 x weeks with no long-term contracts. You can cancel anytime, though I recommend a minimum commitment of 3–6 months to see meaningful progress.

While I focus primarily on ongoing, personalized coaching, I do offer custom one-off training plans in certain cases. However, most runners see the best results through continuous guidance, weekly adjustments, and feedback, which ensures consistent progress, reduced injury risk, and a plan that evolves with their fitness and goals.

You can start as soon as we schedule our initial 15-minute coaching chat. During this session, we’ll review your goals, experience, and schedule, and I’ll build your first week of training in TrainingPeaks. From there, you’ll have a clear, structured plan and ongoing support to begin training immediately.
