Here is the barn that I’m staying in. It’s been a long day. I’m feeling the post hike blues 100%. After being on the Appalachian Trail with so many hikers and making so many new friends I feel alone.

I’m still eating like I’m putting in the miles but sitting on the couch has just got my body feeling like crap. So today I took a walk to the gas station, I brought beer and a packet of M&Ms.

Today I found out that my campervan has had an abandoned sticker put on the windscreen. My ex-girlfriend from South Africa messaged me today with the news.

I took the approach that there was nothing I could do about it and tried to not let it get me down. Instead I was proactive and contacted the council telling them that it’s not abandoned I’m just away in America.
