Alone in Scotts Cabin

Today I mostly spent alone. No conversation meant my mind was able to wander to places it hasn’t been in years. I’ll be honest, I didn’t really wanna get out of bed as I had nothing to do.

I am in the property of Scott Grierson. Scott and his father built this wooden barn/cabin. I am now far away from the Appalachian Trail. But I’m still in the state of Maine in the United States of America.

I could’ve been more productive with today, but I let it slide past me like grains of sand falling in between my fingers.

I did call my friend up in Greece, Harry. He is about to start a 12 day meditation retreat in his home in Thessaloniki.

The hat you see me wearing in the photo is also owned by Scott. When Scott popped by with some supplies for me today he told me he may have bought it in Colorado when he was there with David Horton training for Hardrock 100.

A lot of my day was spent staring at my phone watching episode after episode of the series Alone. What the participants went through really touched me and at points bought tears to my eyes.

I also found out my other friend Jussi from Finland and told him I’d like to join him for part of winter. He said I would be welcome and I look forward to seeing him.
