50k Run in Koh Phagnan

Last night I ran 50 K with a group of Thai runners. It was an impromptu decision based off a message I received on Facebook two days prior. I ended up sharing time with a runner called Lek. We share details about our life and it reminded me of how running is a great opportunity to make new friends.

I’ve now moved from the Sanctuary and have a new place close to the centre of the main village on the island. This takes out two hours of hiking each day for me to get to and from my accommodation. I’m going to use this extra time to get back to my strength training and yoga.

To be 100% completely honest it’s really nice to have my own space and not share as I was doing in the dormitory. I’ve completely emptied my rucksack and adorned the bungalow with my belongings. I really like spreading out everything I have with me and own and this allows me to see what I use regularly and what I do not use and what I do not need.
