Today, I ran through Duncannon, and it reminded me of Nightmare on Elm Street—the kind of place where things feel slightly off, yet you can’t quite put your finger on why. 🌲 In the middle of my run, I came across a baby deer that had fallen and was lying still on the ground. It was a sad moment, but I had to keep going, trusting that nature would take care of the situation as it always does. 🦌

Being out in nature, especially on the Appalachian trails, always brings me a sense of peace. There’s something deeply grounding about the mountains and the solitude they offer. 🏞️ Today, I was one full day ahead of Karel Sabbes record, and I was only halfway through. Little did I know, I would face challenges that I couldn’t overcome in that moment. But that’s the nature of growth—facing the impossible and pushing through.
As I return to the Appalachian Trail this year, I carry with me the lessons learned from past experiences. These lessons are sacred, and I will use them to my advantage as I work toward completing the trail in the fastest time possible—aiming at setting a world record. ⏱️
