Day 14 - 1,000 miles cycling across France πŸ‡«πŸ‡· + Spain πŸ‡ͺπŸ‡Έ

Today Gun section departed my company. We had a great time whilst she was here and have created memories that will last for many years to come.

I know that I am very fortunate to have the relationship I do with my parents. For those of you who do not know Gun section is my mother. And since I was a child I’ve always been able to tell her the truth and we’ve had a close relationship.

After she left I changed the position of my tent on the campsite to another pitch because I could smell some kind of dead animal in the bushes nearby.

Shortly after a couple arrived with two fully loaded touring bikes and we made some conversation. The night ended with us chatting for many hours about life and in particular their relationship.

I was told that they had come out here to figure out if they would continue with their relationship and this trip would be the deciding factor. The conversation was in depth and insightful into relationships between humans.

Earlier at lunch before the gun section left we found a restaurant called β€œLe Bouchon du marché” which was part inside the market of Arcachon I’ve never been to a restaurant where the chefs have access to so much fresh produce.

We both had fish and I had a few glasses of red wine plus a brandy to finish the meal.

Before the meal we went to Decathalon. It’s the biggest Decathalon I’ve ever been in and it reminded me of a large outdoor store in America called REI. I bought a phone holder for my bike and a mirror and also a suspension band so I can start doing some exercises.
