I’m not feeling great tonight. I think it may be eating 3 eggs for breakfast and steak for lunch followed by 3 eggs for dinner.

I feel sick. The town I stopped and ate steak in was Teruel. I tried to be smart and used Tripadvisor to find a decent place to eat. The first recommendation was closed. The second full and the third I got a table but wish I had not.

The waiter sneered at me as I didn’t leave him a tip. He had been nice up until then. I ate steak Enrecote but it was an insult to the cow. At least if an animal is going to die it should be respected by the chef.

I felt very disappointed, I might start leaving reviews myself, as to warn other people.

I drank two large glasses of red wine with the meal. I cycled 55 miles today in a Headwind all day. Started off at 6 mph and finished off at 10 mph. Tuff going especially after the bad meal and sneering waiter.

When I was a waiter in Italy many years ago I never judged the customers over tips. I never expected one.

I thought I would he camping without water and a meal. But I pushed 5 miles further to enter a town called la Puebla de valverde. It’s a nice town but all is shut besides one bar run by a lady and I think her husband. This is where I ate a further 3 eggs.

So I have my tent set up on a stage here in the town under cover after phoning a hotel and the lady actually walking down the street and telling me it was full. The other lady standing out front of her house told me to go camp with my tent under cover where I am now.
