Day 16 - 1,000 miles cycling across France 🇫🇷 + Spain 🇪🇸

Today started off in a way that was wholly satisfying. Reason being is yesterday I purchased a yoga mat and a suspension band, the idea is to create an outdoor strength training routine.

So this morning I implemented that, I did a full body strengthening circuit including push-ups, lunges, core exercises and upper back with the suspension band. I also added in some mobility and a 10 minute meditation with my legs crossed and eyes shut.

I took time over my breakfast, before I knew it, it was 1 o’clock in the afternoon and I hadn’t even left the campsite. Actually what happened this morning was I lived like I had no time limit.

A few days ago when I was talking to the German and Russian couple the young German man said to me I can’t relax cause I’ve only got 10 days remaining on this trip. And I thought to myself why not be able to live a life where the final destination is when we leave this world. This way when you’re in your 30s you’ve got all the time in the world but it’s not the case with most people.

So today I lived like I had all the time in the world and it was beautiful and profound. Leaving me feeling like I had no time limit and I ticked the box of why I started this journeys, because I’m not racing against the clock.

Tonight for dinner I had steak and risotto which I cooked in my new frying pan. I had to cycle QuickTime to the supermarket before it shut at 7:30. And then I rushed round with a few minutes to spare collecting steak and some eggs for breakfast. Also I grabed some cheese and crackers. Now I’m sitting surrounded by pine trees with no sound in the distance besides crickets and the ringing in my ears.
